"I cannot begin to tell you what Mimi has brought to our family. My 7-year-old daughter was always a bit of a loner. Sadly, she didn’t have many friends. When Mimi came to us, they were immediately inseparable. Mimi followed her everywhere – she’d whine in the morning when my daughter got on the school bus and bark and wag her tail when she got home. She loves kids and they love her. She has brought not only unconditional love into my daughter’s life but has helped her to make some wonderful friends. My daughter has never been so happy. Adopting a rescue dog was the smartest thing we ever did. Sometimes I wonder who rescued who."

“It breaks my heart to think that my Georgie was living in a cage in an animal shelter for four long years. He is the sweetest and most loving soul that I have ever known. We’ve had him for 4 weeks now and he is doing wonderfully! It did not take him long to settle in. He knows us now because when we come home, he gets all excited and runs to us and will actually howl sometimes! He has become a very spoiled guy in the time he has been with us. He has his own dog bed in my room and when he sees me getting into bed at night, I just about have to beat him into MY bed! He will lie right up against me with his back to my chest and sleep under the covers and let me pet him. Every few minutes he will turn his head to give kisses. Also, whenever I go into the living room, he is right behind me. One of his favorite things to do is to jump onto my lap when I am sitting in the recliner with my feet up. He will lay his body on my legs and his head on my chest and put his paw across my stomach and just stay there for however long I let him. He is my angel. Thank you for all you did to help Georgie and all the others.

“When my last cat passed away, I was devastated. I didn’t want another cat but when I saw Max at your event, I knew I had to take him home. He brings such joy to our home that we can barely remember what life was like before we had him. He is the happiest cat I have ever seen. He sleeps in our bed and purrs happily through the night, but the best is this – he has seen me push my husband to try to get him to roll over when he snores so Max will take his paw and gently try to push my husband if he starts snoring! Our life is so much better since Max came – although my husband is still a snorer!"
